First wine legend brings us to such region of France as Burgundy. Nobody knows when it was but there was a peasant and he was called Bertin. Once he decided to grow grapes in his field. Field in French sounds like “champ”, so he planted his field with grapes and then he produced a wine from it. That wine was so great and became popular among town inhabitants, lately they called it “chambertin wine”. That name they created combining the name of a peasant with the field where it was grown.
