Every feeling can be imagine in colors – if we talk about friendship it must be something bright, if it’s something negative for us off cause we will use some dark colors. But if we will touch love undoubtedly we will choose some shades of red. Deep red for strong and passionate feelings, light red or pink for tender and romantic emotions.

Pink wine is often called “rose wine”, but if you will be in Spain don’t be surprised if somebody will call it “rosado”, because in Italy it generally called “rosato”.
The color of rose wine changes shades from light and delicate to saturated pink due to the sort of grapes. Most rose wines are arid but if you will search you can find sweet and semidry types.
Now let’s talk about how they get pink color.
Rose wine is made from different kinds of red grapes such as Merlot, Pinot Noir, Tempranillo and so on. Producers can use only one of these kinds or combine some of them. Of cause the use of different sorts of grapes depends on a country where it grows. Spain “Rosado” is made from Tempranillo or Garnacha sorts, in Italy the main sort of grapes for pink wine is Sangiovese, but if we will touch United States our talk will be about Zinfandel or Merlot. The technique of making rose wine allows light contact between skin and juicy pulp of grapes, the shorter this contact will be the easier will be the color. Extra time of this contact will create some unbelievable energetic mix of orange and pink colors. Pink sparkling wine is produced from white and red types of grapes, but as a rule this leads to limitation of sparkling type, so some producers refused of making it.
The odor and taste of rose wines is very tender and full of fruity shades among which are some berries, citrus usually combined with watermelon flavor.
Rose wines are better to serve cool so the best time for tasting them is spring or summer. When the weather will be nasty and hot you have chance to forget about everything surrounding you with the glass of pink wine. Rose wine can be enjoying with seafood and steaks, chicken, ham or egg salads, these wines are ideal for picnics and barbeques or even with some fast food. So we can see that due to their unique flavor they can be taste mostly with every kind of meal.
There is a meaning that all rose wines are very sugary, because of one pink wine brand that was in the market for many years, but true wine lovers know about variety of tastes by this kind of wine.
